The Barbados Grand Prix, an event pioneered by National Junior Record Holder in the Triple Jump and 5 time CARIFTA medalist for Barbados, Aren Spencer, was launched today at the Barbados Olympic Association.
It will take place on July 5th,2025 at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex under the lights from 6pm-10pm. The event lineup features the : 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, long jump (M&W), 100m hurdles (W), 110m hurdles (M), shot put (M) plus two exciting relays: the 4x400m mixed relay and the mixed shuttle relay.
With a four team format, athletes will be drafted into teams with a max of two per event. This invitation only meet will spotlight Barbados’ top overseas-based talent alongside standout athletes from across the region.
